I have lived in the village with my wife Catherine for 24 years.
In 1996 I was instrumental in getting the speed limit through the village reduced from 60 mph to the present 40 mph.
Until recently I was an active member of the Village Speedwatch team and I am keen to re-introduce this service for the safety and benefit of residents and drivers passing through the village.
For the last three years I have been a Director and Chairman of W&A Enterprises Ltd., the boat operations arm of the charity, the Wey & Arun Canal Trust, which carries around 11,000 passengers each year.
I am a member of the Friends of Dunsfold Common and sit on the Committee that works closely with Dunsfold Parish Council.
I retired from the City of London in 2010 and was a Liveryman and Freeman of the City of London.
